We want to share the software that we've written for this tournament with people who may want to run other tournaments. Whatever we provide here is open domain software; it can be used by anyone for any purpose with no restrictions. The software is provided by us on an as-is basis, with no warranties of any kind:

If you would like us to send you a zip file containing all of the software written for the Crosswords LA tournament, click here to send your request. This file will be available about 2 weeks after the end of the Crosswords LA tournament. It will exclude the 6 visible pages accessible from the navigation bar. However, it will include a set of over 30 pages that provide functionality for actually running tournaments. The functions include planning (mailing lists), tournament description (sets of puzzles, food, and drink), registration (participant classification, payment, verification), and scoring (labels, data input) and reporting (ordered lists). Underlying subroutines interface with a database. The code is in php, html, javascript, and mySQL. Two files will be omitted from the distribution for security reasons, but a ReadMe file explains how to replace them.
